MPF Michelle Pèrez Foster

As a Bilingual School Psychologist, Academic Coach, and Special Education Advocate, I bring over 20 years of experience supporting students with a wide range of learning profiles from early childhood through young adulthood.

Through personalized, one-on-one support, I help students strengthen learning and executive functioning skills while guiding parents in understanding their child’s needs and navigating school systems with greater clarity and confidence.

I work with students with ADHD, dyslexia, dysgraphia, anxiety, executive function challenges, and other learning differences, as well as students who are struggling in school but may not yet have a formal diagnosis.

Many of the families I work with have capable students, but something about school isn’t working the way it should.

When a child is struggling in school, families often receive pieces of the puzzle — evaluations, recommendations, school meetings — but no clear roadmap.

I help families make sense of those pieces and turn them into a plan that works for their child.

Sometimes families come to me because they want direct support for their child.
Other times they are looking for guidance navigating school systems or understanding an evaluation.

Together, we determine what kind of support will be most helpful.

When a child struggles in school, families are often left trying to figure out what’s really going on.

And more importantly, how to help.

Through academic coaching, executive function support, parent consultation, and special education advocacy, I support students and families by:

  • providing 1:1 coaching to help students build study skills, confidence, motivation, and healthier ways to manage academic stress and confidence challenges related to learning differences

  • providing ADHD and executive function coaching to strengthen organization, planning, follow-through, and independence

  • helping families interpret evaluations and clarify a student’s learning profile

  • guiding parents through school systems, including evaluations, IEPs, and 504 plans

My goal is to reduce stress for both students and parents while helping children develop the skills and supports they need to thrive academically and emotionally.
